(July 11, 2019, 12:34 pm)A spectacular place for photography: morning and late afternoon/evening are the best times for taking pictures, or during stormy periods. Can become crowded at popular times, but there is plenty of paved parking never-the-less.
Cafe and gift/memento shop nearby for booking tickets to tour the lighthouse. Toilets are limited in space and access, although there is a ramped access to the cafe/gift shop. No toilets outside of the tourist access to the shop etc.
The stone water wheel and interface between rock and water is easy walking distance, or a very short drive, from this place.
A gravel road around the high hill, landward, provides other good viewpoints of the point and lighthouse. This road is just on the right, as one approaches the lighthouse area. -
