  This place has been around since at least the seventies, and has had several owners. What makes it great, is that every time it has been sold, the previous owners have been able to convince the new owners of the benefit of keeping the recipes, and the quality, the same. So Pauls Pies is still making the amazingly flavoursome pies, cakes and pastries it did when I was a kid.
  
  I can particularly recommend the bushmans, Thai curry, and pizza pies, and, of course, the sausage rolls, but everything is excellent. If I had not moved so far away (for work), it would be hard not to go there every weekend, so it is great that they sell them cold as well.
