  I just bought a Tiki Baritone Ukulele from Steve .
  
  Steve can do Set ups with the Instruments so I thought are good, because most Baritone Ukes come out with a different tuning, I teach Bass, Guitar and Ukulele, but with the Uke I have Tanglewood at home and changed the tuning to the same as Soprano to Tenor but with a low G string, anyway I asked Steve for GCEA with a low G string. At home first thing I did was compare the Tanglewood to the Tiki, the outcome? Enormous the neck felt solid so does Uke in General, the weight of the Tanglewood was a lot lighter which lead to some runaway higher notes, the Tiki has a lot more solid everything and that kept the tone even and mellow, it didn't have that annoying mids sound that most Guitarist turn down.
  
  About Steve ?
  Very accomodating, The Uke I was after was still in shipping and he could only assume when it would get to Australia, but unlike most shops that write down so many numbers in a week and promptly ends up "no where". Steve kept me apprised of what information he could get, and once the shipment came in he found mine and Set it up first, then rang me and said it sounds awesome with low G tuning, I was there the next day, and yes what a sound.

  I had a lovely experience dealing with Steve today to get a new electric accostic for my daughter - he was accommodating and helpful in guiding a young girl to find the right guitar and listened to her while recommending the right choice for her. The guitar had been adjusted by a skilled luthier who had check the action which I find was just right - for those who need someone who understands the importance of right action setting for the guitar - Steve is the person and comes highly recommended from my side. Had a lovely chat with him about his guitar collections and Steve's stock of guitars for these price ranges are highly recommended for beginner and intermediate players.
