(March 1, 2023, 11:44 pm)Dr Muir was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend him and Up and Running Podiatry to anyone. He was thorough, informative, personable and the clinic was spotless. I definitely left with peace of mind and knew I was in great hands.
I must say the receptionist was also very lovely. All round 10/10 -

(February 22, 2023, 12:31 am)After living with chronic and sometime debilitating plantar, achilles and (haglund's) heel pain for most of my life, to the point of being unable to walk, I couldn't put any pressure on my heels (imagine not being able to put your legs up with your heels on a pillow due to the pain, that was me) I am happy to say Alec has me pain free. I certainly didn't expect such a great result 12 months ago when I first walked in the door. Even 6 months ago even though I was seeing major improvement I was still expecting I would need to go under the knife, but Alec continued finding ways to improve my pain and mobility little by little and 3 months ago it finally hit me that surgery was no longer on my mind. For the first time in 20+ years I feel like I am finally able to improve day to day instead of dreading tomorrows pain for todays gains.

His nature was so friendly and calm it made the whole experience so easy. Would highly recommend getting all your treatment here you won’t regret it!

(January 31, 2023, 7:39 am)Had a number of issues with my foot that were debilitating for everyday activity. Alec was really good at diagnosing the issues, testing fixes to relieve them and prescribing new orthotics even with a case as complex as mine. Back into sport pain free thanks to him.
