  Great location. Very comfortable. Away from the crowds but only 5 minutes to Halls Gap and the National Park. Lovely open fireplace plus reverse cycle aircon. Well equipped kitchen for preparing meals in. Beautiful views and lots of wildlife. Great place for adults and kids alike.

  My partner and I got married here as part of the 'elopement package'. Beautiful part of the Grampians, just outside Pomonal/ Halls Gap. Attentive hosts, allowed us to do our own thing in the day but we're there if needed. Very peaceful place for a winter escape :)

  Great service and advise given by host, cottages fully equipped and air conditioned. Guaranteed kangaroo encounter and amazing views from the porch

  Hugely enjoyed our only too brief stay in Stone Cottage. Definitely a highlight of our 5 week travel in Australia. The setting just knocked our socks clean off! Kangaroos galore, murmuration of cockatoos, the mountains - all just amazing,

  Kangaroo heaven! No, that's wrong -- it's Australia heaven, because we also saw emus, deer, and flocks of wild cockatoos. I can't recommend Grampian's Pioneer Cottages enough. The log cabin was fully stocked and very comfortable with a spectacular view of the landscape. Sure, there's great hiking just minutes away, but I could easily spend hours just sitting on the porch, and I will never forget eating breakfast at the kitchen table and seeing a dozen kangaroos spring by. If you like unspoiled countryside, don't miss it.
