Whilst participating in the Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass Festival, an idea was mooted of starting a Scottish music school in Dorrigo whilst also raising some money for two local groups (Bellinger District Pipe Band Inc and Dorrigo Youth Services Centre) through a ceilidh.
