  One of the two remaining Welsh Calvinistic Methodist churches in Victoria, the Melbourne Welsh Church is today best known for its church sign. It is traditional Methodist in worship style, but is welcoming to people from all denominational backgrounds, sexual orientations, and nationalities, yet remaining true to its Welsh roots.

  My experience will be slightly biased as my sister-in-law is the caretaker for the church but nonetheless for a church it sure is very warming and feels very homely unlike every other church I have ever visited!
  I stayed with my in law a few years ago as I was visiting from Wales at Xmas so helped out with decorating etc and being as helpful as possible and really enjoyed my time meeting some lovely people from different denominations.
  In all honesty I am not at all religious but this lovely quaint building does feel really inviting so if you are in the area (especially if you're Welsh!) make a point and make a visit, there's usually someone there to show you around! Oh yes the free circular tram will let you know when you have arrived!
