(February 15, 2019, 1:43 am)Atlast free parking in Melbourne airport.you can go out and come back again no restrictions there .however i recomend you pay the little amount they charge as for 40 min only $2 and so on so .i have attatched few pictures for convenience.you can enter it from airport drive or many diff sides .See map .its a great addition as the parking in the airport is a day light robbery ,most expensive in the world.

Useful waiting area, though I wish it was for longer than an hour before it charged you the full fare of normal airport parking - some delays you just cannot predict, and the fee feels like you are being penalised for being organised.

(August 18, 2018, 5:49 am)About time the airport supplied some free parking for driver's waiting for passengers. Free for 20 minutes then a small charge, but 59 minutes plus reverts to short term fees that are expensive.
Sufficient space for quite a few cars. It comes in really handy for terminal 4. If you don't want to pay any fees, you can drive out prior to 20 minutes and re-enter.
