Left Field, Carnegie by Bureaucrat - Eat and Be Merry Crew

Left Field is definitely a few notches above your sleepy cafe surburbia. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside (there's also covered outdoor seating which would be nice during warmer days). Service is friendly and our food came out promptly. A good place to head to if you're wanting reasonably healthy brunch offerings at a great price.

Seemingly I'd been eagerly anticipating Left Field and their open day but in turn, so had the rest of Melbourne. For weeks I watched as hoards of people stood in lines that reached out the doors of Left Field and onto the road itself. And to this day those lines are ridiculous still.

The coffee at Left Field was rich, lovely and nicely made but too cool for me. I like warmth in my coffee. This was overly cool. But, I enjoyed the place over all. I'd been wanting to come here for several years because of Left Field's consistently buoyant rating.
