(September 25, 2022, 7:34 am)Absolutely delicious Persian cuisine. Definitely got me addicted to their range of barbecued meats. The rice was light and fluffy. The smoked barbecued side dip was so tasty delicious. Highly recommend. Very reasonably priced.

The staff were very friendly and genuinely respectful, however the food was not what I expected.
It is not an authentic Persian food and I can tell the chef is not a professional chef.
I ordered Maryam special which has chicken kebab, lamb kebab, lamb cutlets and minced kebab, but unfortunately they were all partly raw and partly burnt as you see in the photo.
The flavour of the onion in minced kebab and the flavour of raw meat in cutlets was sensible, chicken and lamb kebab had a good flavour though.
Overall the quality of the food was lower than other Persian restaurants in Melbourne I've tried so far and personally I won't go there again, would give 5 stars to the staff and good the business grows. -

(May 29, 2022, 9:23 am)This a new business in Reservoir. The staff are friendly, however only one works as cashier and waiter which slow the service. The preparation of food takes a long time, approximately 45 minutes.
I was expecting authentic Persian flavour, but it was average.
It might be because they are busy at that time.
I hope they improve the quality of food. -

Very happy to have such excellent Persian food in the locale. We had an excellent lamb kebab and zeresht (sort of like a chicken stew) and a eggplant starter.
Good sized portions (one of the kebabs was longer than my hand!) and pretty fair price. If you haven't had Persian kebabs before, you are missing out; they are soft and succulent mouthfuls of heaven. -

(May 22, 2022, 1:13 am)We had a beautiful dinner at Maryam Persian Restaurant on Gilbert Rd… started with a smoky eggplant dip and then a platter to share 😋 Such generous serves, we ate until we were bursting! Excellent value (vegetarian options too) with such generous hospitality. We will definitely be back to try all items on the menu (and the Persian tea and baklava to finish was divine!) A very welcome addition to the area 🙏
