  A beautiful lush green area with a great wetlands area near it. Plenty of walking paths and open space. Worth in incorporating into a walk.

  Beautiful, open, green park perfect for picnics, walking or kayaking in the nearby lake. Plants and garden areas are well kept with plenty of space on either grass areas or benches to enjoy a picnic or take in the views of the lake nearby. Toilets, rubbish bins and drinking taps are all placed conveniently within the gardens too. A perfect place for a nice day out in the park.

  A nice place to stay. The camp kitchen was very large and clean .

  Nice area to walk around, well maintained pathways. Parking nearby along the street. Vintage tram stops nearby. Tickets are for return trip.

  Many may see the North Gardens as a broad lawn for special events, but you need to see the Wetlands. A natural gem. Well not really natural, but the ponds serve as filtration pools before the water is sent to Lake Wendouree. The plantings are all native and replicate a natural setting. You only need see the numbers of birds there to know that they love it. You will too when you visit. Do take your camera and perhaps, a special friend.
