  Great location looking up the river to the ocean, quiet and close to town. The motel has a 60's vibe with all the modern features. Well maintained and appointed rooms. Lots of little touches to make you feel welcome when you enter the room. Like having the lights and A/C on and lovely atmospheric music playing. They have created a very welcoming feel to the place. The staff opened the restaurant for me after hours with no fuss. You get the sense that they really do want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I travel the state a lot with work and will always be staying with these guys whenever I'm in the area. The even give you a bag of sweet on check out! Very highly recommend this motel!

  We stumbled across this place a couple or years ago and vowed to return to stay.....we actually did this year. We were accommodated in one of the two cabins on site.....they also have newly renovated motel style accomodation. The cabins are two bedroom two bathroom cabins. Made from.....wait for it....shipping containers. They are spacious and extremely well equipped. Both for entertainment and cooking. They look out to the water inlet where there is a fish coop. The country pub and shops are minutes walk away. The cafe on the property is well worth a visit. The make real coffee and breakfast is excellent. The cafe is comfortable and interesting.

  What a beautiful place to stay. Very clean, friendly staff and Mollie the boss dog. Lovely healthy breakfast was served and the room very clean, easy to find and beautiful outlook over the water...
  We will be back next time with family and friends to stay in the pods with two bedrooms.. Thanks for our stay, see you again real soon..

  Great location for an overnight stay. Waterfront views and walks. Bottom pub just out the back and sandy beach just over the bridge. Rooms were nice, beds warm and comfortable and best of all it was quiet. Everything was about a 4/5 but was lifted to 5/5 by the friendly customer service from the owners. Went above and beyond to welcome us and made our stay memorable. I would definitely come back with the family and try out the shipping container pod apartments.
