Outstanding setting that gives you nice views of the city, and the river. There will probably be few, if any, visitors to this place so enjoy the tranquility of the area. The War Memorials are a touching tribute, and add to the whole Memorial experience. Even some of the trees south of the cenotaph are memorials to people and battles in Australia's history. Overall, this is one of the best places in all of Hobart in my opinion.
It's very cenotaph-y, the toilets are a little average, and the lack of coffee is disappointing.
Nice little war memorial
Beautiful war memorial built in the 1920's honouring fallen Tasmanians from the first and second world wars, as well as many conflicts since.
Amazing views of the harbour, Mt Wellington, the Tasman bridge and beyond. Beautiful grass and trees, lovely place to spend some time.
Cenotaph is located at Anzac Parade, Queens Domain TAS 7000, Australia
