  We ate dinner here and the staff were nice. It was such a refreshing contrast to our treatment at the Derwent Bridge Challets. I'll stay here next time!

  Fantastic meals. We stayed down the road at lake at Clair lodge and drove here for a meal. Heaps of character. Had a beer and played some pool. Fires were going and it was just a really nice time. Very clean. Super friendly and attentive staff.

  The owners have loved and cared for this unique hotel for 30 years. It was great to re-visit it 26 years after our first time. Impeccably clean, very friendly, great breakfast with yoghurt, cereals, toast, eggs to boil yourself, tea, coffee, juice. A genuine gem - massive fireplace that is as warm as the owners hearts. Many thanks for another great stay.

  Stopped here for lunch. The building is spectacular. The staff were quite friendly and lunch was served in good time. I ordered a pie with mash and peas. The pie was good, but the mash was instant fare and tasted terrible.

  Amazing hospitality!
  They have space on the parking for cars, campervans... You only have to buy food or drinks to stay for the night.
  The food is beautiful, and they have all types of diet food options, including vegan and vegetarian and gluten free.
