Coastal headlands and beaches overlook D'Estrees Bay, while experienced bushwalkers occasionally trek to the cape itself.

Once on the island Cape Gantheaume Conservation Park is located 40km south west of Kingscote. Access is via Birchmore Road. Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds.
