With barbecue tables, bathrooms, running water and grassy hills with a view of the Pacific Ocean, this is a great spot to bring your lunch and enjoy the Stradbroke serenity. You’ll likely even be joined by the local kangaroos for lunch!

(January 8, 2018, 5:43 am)People are very friendly. Beautiful scenery everywhere on the island. Good choice of places to eat. Lots of places to picnic. Sand on the beach is very white and fine. On the whole, very pleasant place to visit.

(December 10, 2017, 3:29 am)There is a small dirt carpark here with some amenities. The grassy park is a great place to have a picnic with wallabies and kangaroos visiting in the late afternoons. There is an electric BBQ, toilets and water taps which all make this a great little place to chill out for a few hours as you walk around the spectacular headland track.
