(November 25, 2017, 6:37 am)The JBS Bremer Cold Store is a company-owned facility located on the same site as the JBS Brisbane FoodPartners value-added facility and the JBS Australia corporate office. The Bremer Cold Store has a capacity to store approximately 2,200 pallets of frozen product with three loading docks. Bremer Cold Store also has a blast freezing capacity of 3,600 cartons daily to assist the Queensland plants with their excess blast freezing requirements. The Bremer Cold Store turns over approximately 100,000 cartons weekly, working a two-shift operation Monday through Friday, with approximately 28 JBS team members.
Bremer Cold Store is conveniently located on Government Approved Heavy Vehicle Mass Limits road routes leading to the Port of Brisbane, the major export port for the State of Queensland. Bremer is located approximately one hour by road to Brisbane Port.
