  Well Dear reader I guess if you're reading this you're on the hunt for a builder.
  Having gone down that path and encountered the good, the bad, and the down right unhelpful I am more than happy to give you an idea of our experience.
  When we contacted Brad he immediately inspired confidence.
  I explained that we were not looking for a huge house and that he would not be retiring on the profits.
  He was not phased at all and agreed to come to our site and discuss things.
  During that initial meeting our feelings of confidence were reinforced.
  Brad listened to what WE wanted, offered some suggestions and when they were rejected did not get upset.
  Needless to say as time progressed and he made further suggestions, most of which we agreed with, he continued to allow us to choose what we wanted and at no time tried to give us what he wanted to sell, in stark contrast to another project builder we had dealt with.
  Throughout the building process Brad was very hands on and ensured that we received a quality outcome, all the more pleasing given our restricted budget.
  In the initial stages it became apparent that due to the nature of our ground, basically rock, that a little lateral thinking was required to erect the slab formwork, this "problem" was overcome with good humour and at no extra cost to ourselves.
  Brad and Luke, his carpenter, went to great lengths to ensure our building was plumb and true, a fact highlighted by the comments from the certifier and the plasterboard fixers who praised the frame build.
  The sub contractors Brad used were equally conscientious and we are very happy with their work.
  we have now been living in our house for approx. 3 months and it has now become our home.
  My wife and daughter are both enjoying the space and layout that we chose, and which Brad built.
  Having been an owner builder in the past I had mentioned to Brad that I would be taking a keen interest in the build and unlike some builders, Brad was more than comfortable with that and at no time displayed any annoyance when I asked questions, unlike the experience of some friends with their builder.
  I have no hesitation in recommending Brad and his company, his work is first class as is his supervision of his contractors.
  I have mentioned to Brad that if a customer wishes to come and view his work and discuss it with myself i am more than happy to do so.
  Please just bare in mind this is our home now, so no "show home" features, we can probably stretch to a coffee though.
