His compassionate approach and communication skills with patients along with his perfectionistic surgical approach makes him the ideal choice if your looking for a competent Neurosurgeon.

  Very knowledgeable, caring, and has a wonderful bedside manner. Had surgery on Wednesday and am doing well enough in rehab, including practicing stairs and am already home! Dr Cochrane wanted to also make sure that I felt ready and confident enough to to go home. Very happy with the operation. Still a long way to go. HThanks a lot again Dr Cochrane

  Neil was nothing short of professional and lovely to deal with. He always took the time to answer my many questions and his post operative care was far better than I
  anticipated. I truly believe with surgery you get back what you put in, so set realistic expectations, go in well informed and be willing to rehabilitate yourself, ask lots of questions and above all else, have a great attitude. Thanks Neil for fixing my back!

  Having seen Dr Cochrane in pretty poor shape, Neil's professionalism, good humour and willingness to ensure I was fully informed before, during and after treatment made the best of a bad situation. I would certainly recommend Dr Cochrane to those needing a spinal consult. It's unfortunate that personal vendetta's have made their way into reviews of his professional life, though I am sure Neil has the fortitude, integrity and reputation to rise above.
