I had a mini freak out on Sunday when my car’s check engine light came on thinking ‘oh no, I’m not gonna have the money or a car!’ (After just paying rego) I reached out on Facebook to who could fit me in and wasn’t going to take advantage of me. (Being a woman, living on the sunny coast previously and even in Hervey Bay I’ve had mechanics take me for a ride before and charge me excessive amounts.) On a Sunday (their day off!) the owner and his wife spoke to me and were incredibly helpful reassuring me that all should be okay and a cheap and easy fix. They booked me in and got me in first thing and upon walking in they were so kind and helpful. Thankfully it has been a cheap, quick and easy fix and I am able to drive my car away happy as can be! Thank you Janine and David from Cars plus Mechanical. They’ve been honest and helpful from the word go! Now I don’t have to freak out anymore because I will bring my car here every time !

Great mechanic who takes the time to explain the job to be done. Reasonable rates. I have been with this workshop for 7years or more now and cannot fault their workmanship or customer service. All ways clean waiting room and Janine is All ways up for a chat with any one and every one David is the owner and a Master mechanic with over 20years experience from working in dealership workshops before he decide to open his own workshop .
Dave and Janine are the owners of this business. Dave is a great Mechanic and explains mechanical terms into simple terms. Both are lovely people and I recommend the Mechanics there to work on any vehicle with confidence. They are one the most popular Mechanics in Hervey Bay.
