  Really lovely place to stay. Highly recommend. Book this one! Sincerely lovely people own, live and run the place. Clean, modern and friendly. Affordable too! Love the artwork and nick nacks. Got some great tips on what to see and do. Everything you need is there. Well thought out lay out of rooms, kitchen and pool area. Close to town. Definately going back to stay. Thankyou Di and Andrew for your hospitality.

  Hosts, Di and Andrew were extremely warm and welcoming, and willing to provide a wealth of information regarding the areas hidden gems, and beyond. The location of the property is within easy walking distance to town, and meticulously clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen area was well appointed with plenty of open space to relax, including a pool and spa. If you are looking for accommodation in Cooktown, we couldn't recommend the Gecko Guest House highly enough. 5/5

  My wife and I stayed at gecko lodge
  The owners are really wonderful and helpful
  The room was really well presented and extremely clean
  The price of the room was very reasonable
  Will definitely stay there again
