  Quite quiet during the working week but really nice. The cafes were good and provided great food, drinks and service. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet way to spend the afternoon relaxing.

  Botanical Garden is one of few free things one can and must explore in cairns. vast varieties of beautiful plants. Great place for nice photoes. Ladies, don't forget to do nice makeup. My wife forgot to do make up, but still got beautiful memories. Don't forget to take repellent and water bottle.

  Amazing collection of tropical plants. Some of the colours of the flowers are so vivid they appear unreal! Take a bag to put your eyeballs in when they pop out of your head.

  A spectacular display and range of greenery and flowering plants here for those garden people out & about travelling. The butterfly enclosure was great. A great stopover to visit while in Cairns

  Love the place. It can be a haven of peace in a bustling city for many people with some nice cafes present.
  It is also linked to the tanks arts centre and to the red, and blue arrow walks up the mountain being the gardens.
  
  The local council and friends groups also run free guided tours of the entire garden complex.
