  Staff were extremely helpful at shopfront and also at pickup. Will strongly recommend them to anyone buying mattresses.

  Needed to modify the camper mattress. Thought of Making Mattresses and visited. The guy had definite attitude to the point of being unfriendly. The lady was down to earth, charming and very very helpful. Interestingly neither gave out a name where as I introduced myself and they again added my name to a formal quote.

  Needed to replace my current mattress and decided to visit Makin Mattresses instead of a chain store. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to address my needs and began my showing me their range beds. I was then given ample time to try each bed out in privacy rather than having staff hovering around. Periodically they checked in and addressed any further questions I had. There was no sales pitch nor needing to negotiate down over-inflated prices. As explained to another customer their mattresses are sold directly from the manufacturers. Best part the business is Australian owned and run! Would highly recommend them to those looking for a high quality exceptional
  mattress.

  We have chosen to buy 2 x long single mattresses pushed together to make a king size. Same as they do in many hotels and we have done it before.also with other brands. With the Makin Mattresses mattresses the join between the mattresses is hard and pronounced meaning my wife and I only ever sleep in the centre of our own mattress and I guess that's where we will see the wear happening. Never had this problem with other brands in the past.
  We have not spoken to Makin Mattresses about it yet but will do as we get settled in.
