  The horses were beautiful and kind. As soon as we arrived they were the first to welcome us and my 7 year old ran straight up to them for a cuddle. We enjoyed wandering around the great outdoors, canoeing in the river, building fires and spotting wombats. Wonderful part of our holiday.

  Our stay at Kallarroo was exceptional and worthy to be considered as an experience on its own. The character of the cottage was beyond what we're expecting and is filled with pieces and decorations that makes you feel a part of the surrounding area rather than just renting a house or room for the night. The aesthetics of the place is definitely top notch, the amenities expected are available and the place is definitely clean. Seeing a Christmas tree (since we stayed during December) was a nice touch.
  
  There's plenty of land to explore, and as mentioned above, you can definitely allot more than a couple of hours here just exploring the place. One thing to note however is probably advisable to try and arrive before sun down since it is possible to get lost otherwise. Would definitely stay here again!

  This is a perfect place to escape from busy city life.
  The cottage has a splendid view looking over the lovely green fields, accompanied by the animals, such as horses and native animals like wombats and kangaroos.
  The cottage itself has a warm and cosy vibe. This applies both to the way it is built and to the way it is furnished.
  No matter what season you visit this place, the cottage and surrounding scenery do not fail to impress and allow for incredible photos, views, experiences and memories. Definitely recommend!

  We stayed at Kallaroo for 4 nights in July 2020 and that was the most unforgettable holiday that we've ever had. It was perfect in every sense. Private, quiet, homely, rustic, clean, comfy, fun, heartmelting, and nostalgic. You gotta be there to experience the wonder. We will return, not just once more but often. Perfect place to stay in the Snowy.

  This place is absolutely amazing! The surrounds are beautiful, we enjoyed bush walking, feeding friendly horses and watching wildlife. The cottage is very rustic but cosy. It is perfect place to escape from the busy city life.
