From the moment I entered the surgery and assisted by the welcoming staff I felt at ease about the forthcoming consultation. At every step I was impressed with the professionalism of the team and Prof. Alford’s determination to investigate all avenues associated with my condition. The follow up where my husband was encouraged to be present was thorough and put me at ease about how my GP would be able to respond to Prof Alford’s recommendations. A most reassuring consultation.
I had my first appointment with DR ALFORD today and was totally blown away by his knowledge and professionalism.
He fully explained the systems and causes of my medical condition in the most simplistic way.
Not only that, he pointed out that one of the main medications I have been taking for the past three years had been prescribed by not one, but four GP'S were prescribed at only half the required dosage.
Even though it was my first visit, I came away highly enlightened and felt like he was a true friend despite only having just met.
