  "Can you see him, that's Antoine. He's wearing red. He runs his business as a dry cleaner and has had his business in Avalon for a long time. We spoke on the phone and I particularly liked his humour. I also appreciated watching him pick away, one by one, at the dust particles on the clothes he cares for, after formally cleaning them. He didn't notice me watching but I was there, entranced in his attention towards each and every piece of dust or fluff (going that extra mile.) People were telling me that he works in an old fashion way, I wouldn't agree if anyone didn't find that appealing! What I mean is, it's a sincerely hot day and this Man chooses to be present in his business, daily, attending to it with pride, as apposed to taking himself to the Avalon beaches, like local business owners do. He's there every day, loyally and he always takes such care of his workers. I think he is originally from France but I couldn't get more of his story as I didn't get the chance to speak to him directly yet....what I did get though, is the chance to witness the magic of his care and attention, that in such times, is so easily misplaced.   Took 6 shirts for wash and iron & 2 pieces for dry cleaning on a Thursday - said it would be ready Monday. On Monday 1 piece of dry cleaning ready. It subsequently took two more trips over the next 10 days to get the remaining lost items. After this I heard a similar review from a friend. Three stars is for the fact I did get all items and they were dry cleaned and washed well.
