  Great place to bring the kids, the skatepark has most of the equipment to bring of most tricks as well as a bowl that can almost be used as a vert ramp all though small kids will need help getting in and out if they can't do a drop in.
  
  For beginners this is a good place to go, small scale jumps and turns, mini vert ramp, a couple of small rails (one curved), stairs and 4ish grinding rails.
  
  The concrete surfaces are fairly well maintained with very few cracks and nothing that impacts a skateboard, set next to a small cricket oval with a wide concrete path around the outside which can be used to get your board balance sorted and work on your push off technique.
  
  The skate section is also lit at night, so if you want a skate after dark, this is a good option.
  
  There is also plenty of parking, both inside a carpark and just off the road.

  A good place for experienced skaters. The bowl is very deep. Not so kid friendly.

  Great local skate park. Not too busy. Hardcore bowl that makes bondi look easy.

Boone Greenway Skatepark

The Boone Greenway Skatepark is a town-owned park alongside the Boone Greenway trails. The first phase of the skatepark opened in November of 2021! Visiting skaters will find a concrete skate pad with half-pipe ramps, a rail and boxes to grind, and other fun features. Nearby, the paved greenway trails follow along the South Fork of the New River.

5 reviews of Greenway Park "Really small skatepark - not even sure I'd call it a park. 1 bowl, a couple of rails and 1 ramp - add two guys and some wax and I guess we'll call it a skatepark. The bowl is cute and was good for my 5 year old, but definetly not good for really active skateboarders. Matter of fact, had there been one more person there, they would have had to wait turns to use the bowl.
