(December 17, 2018, 8:33 pm)Conveniently located in the Asian food court (called Hawkers Street) in the lower level of Westfield in an area that is reminiscent of the outdoor eating places commonly found in SE Asia.
The Nahm Jimm is a Thai fast food outlet and has a predominant position in the food court. (Pictures of the place and menu included). It's always great to see the food being prepared in front of you and they have a typical Thai menu. You receive an electronic tag after payment which beeps and vibrates when your order is ready to collect.
The Pad Thai was tasty but it was more like soggy noodles in a sauce and lacking the crispy crunch texture typical of this dish. It took about 10 minutes to make but the kitchen was not busy at the time. Cost was $13 plus 13c surcharge. Overall not worth the high cost.
The cost of the food is on the high side, but then most of the places here are similarly priced. Card payment is available but incurs a 1% surcharge.
As most of the reviews here state, the cashier was far from friendly or helpful. She was more interested in her mobile and the virtual world than what was going on around and in real life.
