  ???????? This darling little cinema is a step back in time but in all the right ways! Showing current movies that the bigger cinemas dismiss far too quickly. Don't be late for a showing though or you might miss out on a seat!!

  I love this cinema. Small. Beautiful. Clean. Show a mix of mainstream and alternitive films. We saw Top end wedding. 5 stars

  What a beautiful place, relaxed atmosphere, great prices and tea/coffee or Milo, what more could you ask for.

  Lake cinema is a lovely cinema located in Boolaroo, just a suburb away from Glendale where the major cinemas can be found. Lake cinema is perfect for and appeals to old people the most. The cinema is quite old, yet still maintains a vintage and retro feel. The prices are all very cheap in comparison to other cinemas and even supermarkets. Their candy bar has a wide range of choices including but not limited to popcorn, drinks, ice-creams, lollies, chocolates and chips. The usual ticket price is $8 (unless their is a children's movie). With each ticket, the ticket holder is entitled to a complimentary tea/coffee/Milo with a biscuit. This especially is very popular amongst the patrons. The cinema itself is very cosy with comfortable seats and nice sized screen. The cinema is renowned for showing the movies produced by smaller film companies (maybe those that aren't as popular). The owner is kind-hearted and has devoted his life towards the cinema. He recently celebrated the 45th anniversary of the cinema. Overall, I would highly recommend visiting this cinema.
