(April 16, 2023, 1:50 am)This was one of the highlights of our trip, the museum itself is modest but the guide immersed us in the stories behind all the artefacts and pictures, followed by a tour of the fish traps and the community surrounding them. Really educative and the kids loved it too

The coming together of 8 different tribes in this area is great. It shows collectiveness, community and collaboration from many many years ago and to come. -

(June 7, 2021, 4:44 am)Fantastic experience learning about the historic fish traps & a bit of Aboriginal history. I first learned about this place from the book Dark Emu by Bruce Pascoe. Bradley 3 did a great job & the other staff were lovely too. If you want to learn about the oldest culture in the world, this is a good start.
