(January 1, 2019, 1:53 am)One your are in Canberra you have to visit that great lookout. Located just over the War Memorial. Very easy car access, bunch of parking slots.
No amenities but free drinking water available. Ice scream truck visit that place as well so bring your kids here

(November 5, 2018, 8:00 pm)For the best views of Canberra and Lake Burley Griffin this is the place to visit. You can also sit down and enjoy the view with drinks and food from the cafe. There is a protected viewing area so the weather is not an issue.

(October 21, 2018, 10:25 pm)Open and a great play area for kids and parties. Often fairly busy as it is a popular area. There are about 4 covered table spaces, most are not easily accessible by wheelchair, especially if the chair has issues across grass. However the playground and open air tables are very accessible.
