Australians and Hollywood was an interesting exhibition and well worth a visit, but what was really good were the archive films relating to the planning of the development of the new Canberra, filmed in 1972. Really worth seeing, and gives a good appreciation of the thought and effort put in to produce a Canberra that is still fit for purpose in the 21st century. Recommend it to all Australians. Just take care with public holiday timings as may not match the website information, but reception ensured we were not disadvantaged. Thank you to them for all their help and explanation.

I was here for a school excursion and although it was very informative, there were nothing displayed other than a large projector to watch a video. One upside was that the red seats were like the ones in movie theatres which were very comfortable. They also had a portable table on the side of each chair. Overall, if you want a lot of info, come here but be ready to get bored if you’re not interested.

A very insightful collection of film and other memorabilia from Australia's past. Also the current Australians and Hollywood Exhibit is a must; showcasing various items from the classic Aussie films.

This place is inside the Australian National University. Admission was free. It's a good place to spend half an hour in Canberra.
