  Came with my 14 month old. She loved the tree house and was excited by the wildlife. There's too much to do in one go so we'll definitely come back again. Parking isn't the cheapest though.

  The paid parking was affordable and close to garden. Garden offer variety and respite from warm climate conditions. Restaurant offered reasonable service across a decent variety of eats and drinks though at above average cost.

  Lovely gardens and amazing plants that you might not normally see. Signage needs improvement. Parking is strange as you have to know how long you will be there in advance. Cafe pretty but not much choice for vegan options.

  Outdoor cinema - beautiful surroundings, good food and drink options (food trucks with burgers, drinks (alcoholic/non alcoholic) popcorn, snacks) and decent screen and sound. Bring your own chairs, rugs, food and drinks and have a picnic ???? Movie starts when the sun is almost completely set but good spots get taken relatively quickly.

  one of those hidden secrets that many visitors do not get to see when visiting Canberra, almost driving right past it on the way to Telstra Tower. the gardens are a wonderful example of most of Australia's flora, set out in a reasonably accessible location. wheelchair access may be limited to the Fern Gully area, so please check this out before your arrive, otherwise the area is viewable via paved pathways, with many unpaved side paths to explore further. lots of shaded areas for picnics and the cafe provides reasonable food and beverages. the gardens are a photographers dream where you may even spot the odd kookaburra or possum.
